This Chip timed 5K and Fun Run Walk is part of an all-day family event beginning at Noon, featuring a 10 band concert, Carnival games, BBQ, Silent Auction, Car Show and many events for children and families. The proceeds will benefit the Brayden Kress Tharp Foundation (http://blessingsfrombrayden.org) and the Bobbi Jo Newkirk Foundation. The Bobbi Jo Newkirk Foundation helps provide funds to local cancer charities and works directly to help families affected by Cancer.
The Brayden Kress Tharp foundation works to help Families who have a sick child to be able to be with their child during treatment, and also helps to relieve the financial burden on families who have suffered the loss of a child.
